Le député Lotika contre les conditions de travail dans certains établissements d'expatriés à Kisangani

Le député national Théoveul Lotika monte au créneau pour défendre les travailleurs congolais employés par des expatriés indo-pakistanais et chinois à Kisangani.


Élu de cette ville, il accuse ces établissements d'ignorer délibérément les dispositions du code du travail en RDC, imposant des conditions jugées précaires à leurs employés.


Lors de ses vacances parlementaires, Lotika dit avoir reçu plusieurs plaintes dénonçant des violations flagrantes des droits des travailleurs.

L'Association des Professeurs de l’Université de Kinshasa (APUKIN) tire la sonnette d’alarme face à la multiplication des agressions ciblant ses membres. Le président de cette structure, professeur David Lubo, a dénoncé lundi 9 février une insécurité persistante sur la « colline inspirée », marquée par de récents cas de cambriolages et de violences physiques.

La société civile de Mwenga alerte sur les conditions « désastreuses » des déplacés de Lwindi

La situation des milliers de déplacés internes de la chefferie de Lwindi, installés à Mwenga-centre (Sud-Kivu), est critique. Dans un plaidoyer publié vendredi 6 février, la société civile de Mwenga dénonce leurs conditions de vie « désastreuses » et appelle à l'ouverture urgente d'un couloir humanitaire.


Selon cette organisation citoyenne, ces familles déplacées manquent de tout : abris, eau potable et nourriture. Leurs enfants ne sont plus scolarisés, car les infrastructures scolaires et religieuses sont saturées.
