L'Assemblée nationale a adopté, vendredi 4 juillet 2025, la loi portant Vision nationale de développement du Bénin à l'horizon 2060.

La " Vision Bénin 2060 Alafia, un monde de splendeurs " a été adoptée par les députés, vendredi 4 juillet 2025. La séance s'est déroulée en présence du ministre d'État chargé du Développement et de la Coordination de l'action gouvernementale, Abdoulaye Bio Tchané, et du ministre de la Justice et de la Législation, Yvon Detchenou.

Le texte de loi se compose de 32 articles répartis en six chapitres. Il définit les grandes lignes du développement du Bénin pour les 35 prochaines années, au-delà des gouvernements successifs.

Se prononçant à l'issue du vote, le ministre d'État chargé du Développement et de la Coordination de l'action gouvernementale a comparé cette loi à une " Maison ". « Cette maison est le symbole d'un Bénin uni, prospère, enraciné et solidaire. Elle est magnifiquement construite, entretenue avec soin, et pensée pour accueillir chacun avec dignité et sécurité »,, a expliqué Abdoulaye Bio Tchané.

Selon le ministre d'État, chaque pièce représente un secteur vital : éducation, santé, économie, culture, sécurité, gouvernance... L'ensemble forme un cadre harmonieux, propice à l'épanouissement de tous.

Cette Vision 2060 est le fruit d'un travail collectif. Elle traduit une ambition de faire du Bénin un pays qui rayonne, un modèle de résilience et d'innovation malgré les défis du monde.
