Members are participating in background talks with NGOs and delegations from across the world, while the EU commissioner for climate action Miguel Arias Cañete will brief them on the progress of the talks on a daily basis. La cour d'appel de Paris a condamné à 150 000 euros d'amende Uber France pour "pratique commerciale trompeuse". Le groupe proposait comme du covoiturage une offre payante de transport de particuliers baptisée UberPop.

L'année 2015 se termine aussi mal qu'elle a commencé. Elle s'est ouverte sur des attentats terroristes. Elle s'achève par des guerres et des catastrophes écologiques. Elle se termine, partout dans le monde, par de nouveaux attentats et la montée du populisme. Il ne faut pourtant pas désespérer. Car ces malheurs s'expliquent tous par une unique cause: la faiblesse des dirigeants politiques.

Back in Brussels members of the civil liberties committee discuss the current situation concerning so-called migrant "hotspots" in Greece and Italy. In addition MEPs meet their counterparts from African, Caribbean and Pacific countries in Brussels, and Parliament's political groups prepare for the final plenary session of the year in Strasbourg next week.

Le 7 décembre 2015, le Groupe aéronaval constitué autour du porte-avions Charles de Gaulle a passé le canal de Suez pour rejoindre le golfe arabo-persique (GAP). Il a par ailleurs intégré la Task Force 50.

A Magyar Mozgalom (MM) szolidaritást vállal a Vajdasági Magyar Szövetségből (VMSZ) első fokon kizárt szabadkai képviselőkkel, akik a városi képviselő-testületen, illetve a VMSZ szabadkai frakcióján belül létrehozták az MM platformját ‒ jelentette be hétfői sajtótájékoztatóján Korhecz Tamás, a Magyar Mozgalom egyik társelnöke.

Általános : Egy hete zajlik a párizsi klímakonferencia (COP21), ahol csaknem 200 ország vezetője egyeztet az éghajlatváltozásra vonatkozó új nemzetközi megállapodásról. Hétfőtől péntekig az EP 15 fős delegációja is bekapcsolódik a tárgyalásokba. Miguel Arias Cañete éghajlat- és energiapolitikáért felelős uniós biztos minden nap tájékoztatást ad az EP-képviselőknek, akik emellett civil szervezetek és más delegációk képviselőivel is egyeztetnek. ELIAMEP provides the channel for recruiting Greek students for the Master’s Programme at the College of Europe through the Greek Selection Committee for the College of Europe, which operates on the ELIAMEP premises. The College of Europe is a centre of academic excellence, with fιve programmes, leading to a Master’s degree. It operates in two campuses, in Bruges (Belgium) and Natolin (Poland). The five one-year programmes are: Politics and Administration, Law, Economics as well as EU International Relations and Diplomacy in Bruges, and the “European Interdisciplinary Studies: The Internal and External Dimensions of the EU” programme in Natolin.

Applying: The requirements for admission are a relevant University degree of good standard and working knowledge (writing and speaking) of English and French.

Closing date for applications is January 20th, 2016. Interviews for short-listed candidates take place in April / May in Athens by the Greek Selection Committee. Application files should include the documents (in English or in French) listed below:

1. The Application Form of the College of Europe.

2. a CV indicating the totality of your studies as well as the grades obtained.

3. a certified copy of your degree(s) (if you are not yet in possession of your final degree, please send it as soon as it is available).

4. a transcript from your University, Faculty, School, detailing results for every year of your studies and grades obtained.

5. 2 letters of recommendation from two of your university professors.

No other documents are required. Please note that applications which are not complete, especially with respect to the certificates detailing the results of your studies and the marks obtained cannot be taken into consideration. Please also note that the Master’s Degrees awarded from the College of Europe are now recognized from the National Academic Recognition Information Center (NARIC).
