The Council approved conclusions on Syria reaffirming the EU’s commitment to the Syrian people, and to a Syrian-owned and Syrian-led inclusive and peaceful transition.

Cette intervention musclée de l'armée intervient quelques jours après les attaques contre le commissariat de Kouarfa, dans la commune de Toucountouna (Atacora), et celui de l'arrondissement de Sonsoro, dans la commune de Kandi (Alibori).
