Der Rat hat sein Verhandlungsmandat in Bezug auf einen Vorschlag für eine Verordnung über Rating-Tätigkeiten in den Bereichen Umwelt, Soziales und Governance (ESG-Ratings) festgelegt, mit dem das Vertrauen der Investoren in nachhaltige Produkte gestärkt werden soll.

Der Rat hat sich auf ein Verhandlungsmandat für die Benchmark-Verordnung geeinigt. Der Vorschlag betrifft den Geltungsbereich der Vorschriften für Referenzwerte, die Verwendung – in der Union – von Referenzwerten, die von einem in einem Drittstaat angesiedelten Administrator bereitgestellt werden, und bestimmte Meldepflichten.
