European Council

The Council agreed its position on the proposed regulation on instant credit transfers in euro which aims to improve the availability of instant payment options to everyone who owns a bank account in the EU and in EEA countries.

The leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) met in Hiroshima, Japan, on 19-21 May 2023. They were joined by the leaders of Australia, Brazil, the Comoros, the Cook Islands, India, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, Vietnam and Ukraine.

The G7 Leaders agreed on the "Hiroshima Vision on Nuclear Disarmament".

On 19 May 2023 the G7 leaders gathered in Hiroshima, Japan, adopted a statement on Ukraine.
