On 30 November 2022 the Committee on Foreign Affairs will hold a hearing on the Global Gateway and the Indo-Pacific region. One year after launching of the Global Gateway, the hearing aims to examine the state of play of its implementation, how our partners view EU's efforts to strengthen engagement in the Indo-Pacific and how to maximize its impact in fostering the rule of law, democracy, environment and labour rights in the countries in which the EU invests.
