During their next meeting, Members of the Foreign Affairs Committee will host Tobias Lennart Billström, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden for an exchange of views on the priorities of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
They will also hold a debate with the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the European Commission will also debrief Members on the EU relations with Switzerland, and Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway.
Other debates will focus on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in light of ongoing escalation, the situation in Nicaragua, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, state of play of EU-US relations. Members will also vote on opinions on the 2021 discharge for the budget of the European External Action Service and Commission and on the opinion to the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence and amending Directive.
