On 3 December 2024 at 16.30, the AFET and BUDG Committees will hold the first Ukraine Facility Dialogue pursuant to Article 37 of the Ukraine Facility Regulation. The Ukraine Facility is a EUR 50 billion instrument, disbursed in stages, which represents one of the cornerstones of the EU's strategy to support Ukraine in the wake of Russia's war of aggression.
Members will have the opportunity to discuss with the Commission the state of progress in the implementation of the Facility, in particular the Ukraine Plan and related reforms, Ukraine's progressive alignment to the EU acquis, as well as the payments made. Ukraine Facility Dialogues shall be held at least every four months.

On 3 December, the Committee on Foreign Affairs will discuss with members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Interparliamentary Cooperation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the main issues concerning the 14 sanctions regimes adopted so far by the EU following the Russian full scale invasion of Ukraine and their implementation.
Parliamentarians are also likely to discuss measures to be included in the 15th package of sanctions, which is being prepared by the EU, as well as the use of frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.
