The Competition Council (industry and single market) is holding an informal meeting in Amsterdam on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 January. The goal is to strengthen the single market (including the digital single market) in the interests of companies, citizens and consumers.

More mutual legal assistance, uniform rules on sharing information in the fight against cyber crime and more cooperation in forensic investigations. The results of the second day of the informal meeting of EU ministers for Justice and Home Affairs in Amsterdam.

The European ministers responsible for competitiveness  meet in Amsterdam to discuss the digitisation of industry, strengthening the single markets (digital and services), future-proof legislation and innovation-friendly frameworks.

Renforcement de l'entraide judiciaire, uniformisation des règles pour le partage d'informations dans le cadre de la lutte contre la cybercriminalité et coopération plus étroite dans le domaine de la police scientifique, tels sont les résultats du deuxième jour du Conseil informel Justice et Affaires intérieures (JAI) à Amsterdam.

On Wednesday 27 January 2016 there will be an informal meeting of the Competitiveness Council. Under the chairmanship of State Secretary for Education, Culture and Science Sander Dekker, EU ministers whose portfolio includes research will discuss the importance of research and innovation.

Ce mercredi 27 janvier 2016 a lieu à Amsterdam la réunion informelle du Conseil Compétitivité (recherche). Sous la présidence du secrétaire d'État néerlandais à l'Enseignement, à la Culture et aux Sciences, Sander Dekker, les ministres européens de la recherche débattent de l'importance de la recherche et de l'innovation.

Ministers, European Commissioners, members of the Dutch parliament, academics and senior civil servants from the entire European Union will be meeting in Amsterdam on Thursday 28 January to brainstorm about the EU’s multiannual budget. Foreign minister Bert Koenders and finance minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem organised the brainstorming event in order to kick-start a discussion on reforming the so-called Multiannual Financial Framework.

Cybersecurity will be the main item on the agenda on the second day of the informal meeting of the Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) Council. The justice ministers of the EU member states will meet in Amsterdam to discuss the European approach to cybercrime.

La deuxième journée du Conseil des ministres de la Justice et des Affaires intérieures (JAI) porte sur la cybersécurité. Réunis dans musée de la Marine à Amsterdam, les ministres de la Justice des États membres de l’UE réfléchissent à la lutte contre la cybercriminalité.
