European Council

The EU issued a statement on the occasion of the anniversary of the adoption in 1998 of the Rome Statute, the founding treaty of the International Criminal Court, reaffirming its unwavering support for the ICC, calling on all states to cooperate with it, and supporting reform processes aimed at improving the effectiveness of the Court.

The EU issued a statement on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 honouring the memory of those who lost their lives, and reiterating the EU’s call on the Russian Federation to accept its responsibility in this tragedy and to cooperate fully in serving justice.

The Council agreed its country-specific recommendations on the economic, social, employment, structural and budgetary policies of member states.
