EU ambassadors today endorsed the Council's position on establishing a technical support instrument to foster recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.

The Council today endorsed its partial negotiating mandate on proposals for more funding and flexibility to help the COVID-19 recovery.

The Council adopted its 2020 country-specific recommendations and opinions on the member states' economic, employment and fiscal policies. It also adopted the recommendation for the euro-area.

Following the first review under the recommendation on the gradual lifting of the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU, the Council updated the list of countries for which travel restrictions should be lifted.
