European Council

The leaders of the EU and US met to renew the transatlantic partnership, set a Joint Transatlantic Agenda for the post-pandemic era, and commit to regular dialogue to take stock of progress.

At the joint press conference with President von der Leyen and Prime Minister Trudeau, President Charles Michel outlined the main deliverables of the summit.

In light of the gradual relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions both in Belgium and Luxembourg, a limited number of journalists will be allowed to attend physically the following Council meetings taking place at the  European Convention Centre Luxembourg (ECCL).
