Talking to press after the informal meeting of the members of the European Council, President Charles Michel reiterated the EU and NATO support for Ukraine.

At the press conference in Paris following a working dinner with European and African partners engaged in the fight against terrorism in the Sahel, President Charles Michel reaffirmed Europe’s commitment in the Sahel and West Africa to fight terrorism.

The Council decided to impose restrictive measures on five individuals in view of the situation in Mali.

The Council renewed the EU terrorist list setting out persons, groups and entities subject to restrictive measures with a view to combating terrorism for a further six months, and delisted one person.
