On 23 August 2022, President Charles Michel spoke, via video conference, at the 2nd Crimea Platform Summit organised on the eve of the Independence Day of Ukraine.

The Council today imposed restrictive measures on two additional individuals in respect of the ongoing unjustified and unprovoked Russian military aggression against Ukraine.
