A Tanács következtetéseket hagyott jóvá a fenntartható és körforgásos biogazdaságban az EU előtt álló kihívások kezelése tekintetében rejlő lehetőségekről, különös tekintettel a vidéki területekre.

A Tanács a mai napon az „Irány az 55%!” intézkedéscsomagba tartozó kulcsfontosságú jogszabályokat fogadott el. Az intézkedéscsomag lehetővé teszi, hogy az EU a főbb gazdasági ágazatokban teljesítse az éghajlat-politikai célkitűzéseket, biztosítva ugyanakkor, hogy a leginkább kiszolgáltatott helyzetű polgárok és mikrovállalkozások, valamint a kibocsátásáthelyezésnek kitett ágazatok hatékony támogatásban részesüljenek az éghajlatvédelmi átállás során.

A Tanács a mai napon új jogszabályt fogadott el az úgynevezett ro-ro (roll-on/roll-off) személyszállító hajókra, más néven kompokra vonatkozó stabilitási követelmények javítása érdekében.

A Tanács végleges jóváhagyását adta az általános termékbiztonsági rendelethez.
