Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the European Union on the alignment of certain third countries with Council Decision (CFSP) 2023/847 of 24 April 2023 implementing Decision 2013/255/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Syria.

The Council today approved conclusions highlighting the importance of incorporating a strong anti-corruption perspective in all development efforts.

Paschal Donohoe, President of the Eurogroup, gave a speech at Brussels Economic Forum highlighting the euro area economic perspective and its priorities.

Press briefing ahead of Eurogroup meeting will take place on 8 May 2023 at 14.30.
