A Tanács elnökségének és az Európai Parlamentnek a tárgyalói a mai napon ideiglenes megállapodásra jutottak az úgynevezett „első omnibusz” jogalkotási csomag egyik rendeletre irányuló javaslatával kapcsolatban, amely egyszerűsíti és megerősíti az importáruk karbonintenzitását ellensúlyozó uniós mechanizmust (CBAM).
