Au Burkina Faso, Reporters sans frontières (RSF) fait des révélations sur le sort réservé au journaliste burkinabè, Atiana Serge Oulon. Le directeur de publication de l'Événement n'a plus donné signe de vie depuis près de deux ans, depuis son enlèvement le 24 juin 2024 à son domicile. Les autorités du pays, le disaient réquisitionné et envoyé au front au côté des forces armées. Mais cette version est contredite par les investigations de RSF selon lesquelles Atiana Serge Oulon a, en fait, été séquestré et torturé dans une « prison secrète » dans la capitale Ouagadougou.
