Poland is sticking to its plan of holding presidental elections on 10 May. The parliament in Warsaw made the decision on Monday on the basis of the crisis law passed at the end of March. After 16 hours of discussion the EU finance ministers postponed a final decision on the coronavirus aid package to Thursday. The main bone of contention is whether the package should include so-called coronabonds in addition to easier loan conditions, a guarantee fund and a short-time work scheme.
