EU ministers of finance today endorsed a statement on continuing bank lending for households and corporates experiencing temporary difficulties and on maintaining a well-functioning insurance sector, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Council appointed Brigadier General František Ridzák as new EU force commander for the EU military mission which contributes to the training of the Malian Armed Forces.
