On 27 April 2022, President Charles Michel addressed, at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Ukraine. In his video message, President Michel stressed that the EU will be at Ukraine's side to help rebuild the country.
