EU Council and European Parliament negotiators today reached a provisional political agreement on the proposed regulation establishing the next EU space programme for the years 2021 to 2027.

The Council adopted conclusions on EU-wide animal welfare label.

The Council adopted conclusions on strengthening resilience and countering hybrid threats, including disinformation, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The EU has taken a decisive step towards an improved protection of people in the EU from serious cross-border health threats. The Council reached a provisional deal with the European Parliament on a reinforced and much better funded EU4Health programme for 2021-2027.

The Technical Support Instrument will assist EU countries to prepare their recovery and resilience plans, required to access funding from the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
