The Council imposed restrictive measures on an additional 87 individuals and 34 entities in respect of the continued Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.

The Council decided today to impose additional restrictive measures against individuals and entities linked to the Wagner Group in view of the international dimension and gravity of the group’s activities, as well as its destabilising impact on the countries where it is active.

The Council adopted a tenth package of new restrictive measures intended to step up pressure on Russia and its government.

On the one-year mark of Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, G7 leaders issued a statement reaffirming their unwavering support for Ukraine for as long as it takes.

The agreement will allow joint operations to be organised and Frontex border management teams to be deployed in North Macedonia, subject to the country’s agreement.

The Council renewed the EU terrorist list, which sets out persons, groups and entities subject to restrictive measures with a view to combatting terrorism.
