Le président du Conseil européen, Charles Michel, s'est rendu à Rome où il a rencontré la présidente du Conseil des ministres italien, Giorgia Meloni. Ils se sont penchés sur les trois sujets qui seront au cœur des discussions du Conseil européen de février: l'Ukraine, l'économie et les migrations.

A Tanács a szegénység és a társadalmi kirekesztődés elleni küzdelmet szolgáló megfelelő minimumjövedelemről szóló ajánlást fogadott el. A jövedelemtámogatás akkor tekinthető megfelelőnek, ha az élet minden szakaszában biztosítja a méltósággal élhető életet. Ajánlott, hogy a tagállamok az államháztartás fenntarthatóságának megőrzése mellett legkésőbb 2030-ig fokozatosan érjék el a jövedelemtámogatás megfelelő szintjét.
