A Tanács kialakította álláspontját arról a rendeletjavaslatról, amely arra irányul, hogy kiterjessze az Európai Globalizációs Alkalmazkodási Alap hatókörét, mégpedig oly módon, hogy az Alapból támogatást lehessen nyújtani az elbocsátás közvetlen kockázatának kitett munkavállalók tekintetében is.

A Tanács elfogadta a rákkeltő, mutagén és reprodukciót károsító anyagokról szóló irányelv hatodik felülvizsgálatára vonatkozó álláspontját. A felülvizsgálat célja a veszélyes vegyi anyagoknak való munkahelyi kitettségre vonatkozó szabályok aktualizálása.

The election of the new president will take place at the next meeting of the Eurogroup on 11 December. The president is elected by a simple majority of the Eurogroup ministers, in line with the Treaty's Protocol 14 on the Eurogroup.
