Debate: COP26 coming to an end: are the resolutions realistic?

The World Climate Change Conference in Glasgow ends tomorrow. According to the current draft of the final declaration, the phasing out of coal is to be accelerated and subsidies for fossil fuels are to be slashed. Emissions harmful to the climate are to be reduced by 45 percent by 2030 and to net zero by the middle of the century in a bid to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees. Europe's press wonders how all these targets are supposed to be achieved.
