A Tanács a mai napon tárgyalási megbízást fogadott el, amelynek alapján megkezdődhetnek a tárgyalások az Európai Parlamenttel az európai piaci infrastruktúráról szóló rendeletről és irányelvről. A jogszabályok felülvizsgálatának célja, hogy vonzóbbá és reziliensebbé tegye az Unióban az elszámolási szolgáltatásokat, támogassa az EU nyitott stratégiai autonómiáját, és megőrizze az EU pénzügyi stabilitását.

A Tanács és az Európai Parlament a mai napon ideiglenes politikai megállapodásra jutott a jegyzési láncról szóló javaslatról. A javaslat a bankok helyreállításáról és szanálásáról szóló irányelv (BRRD) és az Egységes Szanálási Mechanizmusról szóló rendelet (SRMR) célzott módosítására irányul, célja pedig a „belső MREL” kezelésével kapcsolatos egyes kérdések kezelése a bankszanálási csoportokban.
