A Tanács írásbeli eljárás keretében elfogadott két, a 2020. évi uniós költségvetés módosításáról szóló javaslatot, amelyekkel az EU forrásokat szabadít fel a COVID-19 miatti válság kezelésére.

A járvány eddig 3 ezer milliárd eurójába került az európai gazdaságnak. De csak fokozatosan, egyeztetve, és a járványstatisztikákat figyelve javasolnak feloldásokat.

Európa-szerte 165 ezer Erasmus+ cserediáknak és 5000 uniós önkéntesnek kellene biztosan tudnia, hogy költségeiket megtérítik és státuszuk megmarad, vélik a képviselők.
