A koronavírus utáni gazdasági helyreállításról és a hétéves költségvetésről egyeztetnek pénteken az uniós állam- és kormányfők.

Az Európai Bizottság megelőzné, hogy harmadik országok kormányzati támogatással felvásárolják az uniós cégeket a válság alatt.

President Charles Michel presented the main results of the video conference of the Eastern Partnership leaders. They discussed long-term objectives and how to increase resilience in the areas of democracy, society, economy, energy, security, cyber, media, environment, health, and human security. They agreed to meet in person for the next Eastern Partnership summit in March 2021, in Brussels.

On 19 June, the members of the European Council will meet via video conference. EU leaders will discuss the issue of a recovery fund to respond to the COVID-19 crisis and a new EU long term budget.

The Council decided to renew the sanctions introduced in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol by the Russian Federation until 23 June 2021.
