Speech by President Charles Michel at the opening ceremony of the EU-AU summit

Talking to press after the informal meeting of the members of the European Council, President Charles Michel reiterated the EU and NATO support for Ukraine.

At the press conference in Paris following a working dinner with European and African partners engaged in the fight against terrorism in the Sahel, President Charles Michel reaffirmed Europe’s commitment in the Sahel and West Africa to fight terrorism.

On Thursday, Parliament adopted three resolutions on the human rights situation in the Philippines and Iran and the political crisis in Burkina Faso.
