Le rapport d'enquête sur l'ingérence présumée de la Russie dans l'élection présidentielle de 2016, préparé par le procureur spécial Robert Mueller III et son équipe, est un document juridique minutieusement rédigé, qui a choisi de fonder ses conclusions et recommandations sur une lecture très conservatrice du droit. Le "narratif" de ce rapport met la lumière sur une administration en désarroi, déjà décrite dans un certain nombre de livres à sensation.…

Il est parfois difficile de trouver un parfait emplacement pour sa télévision. Pour cela, il est possible d’acquérir quelques meubles. Dans le cas où cette idée n’est pas la bienvenue, une autre solution s’impose de plus en plus dans les foyers : opter pour un support TV mural. Afin d’accrocher une télévision sur un mur grâce à un support, il faut bien choisir l’emplacement et bien choisir son support.

Choisir l’emplacement de la TV

La première étape pour accrocher un support TV dans son salon, dans sa chambre ou dans son bureau, c’est de bien choisir son emplacement (pour approfondir, je vous conseille de lire cet article). Généralement, l’emplacement dépend de la forme de la télévision et de la forme de la pièce, sans oublier la position des ouvertures et autres entrées de lumières.

Par rapport aux fenêtres, il faudra veiller à ce que la position du support TV par rapport à la position des sièges correspondants soit adéquate. En d’autres termes, il faudra que la TV soit positionnée en un endroit d’où les téléspectateurs ne seraient pas gênés par la lumière. Même si la plupart des nouvelles télévisions permettent n’importe quel emplacement, il faut veiller à protéger la vue dans les autres cas.

Par rapport à la forme du mur, il faut préciser que les supports TV peuvent être fixés sur tous les types de mur, peu importe la forme. Seule la forme de la télévision doit être prise en compte. Les TV plates par exemple, ont besoin d’un mur bien plus grand que les TV incurvées. Ces dernières peuvent être adaptées aux murs même pas droits.

Bien choisir son support TV mural

Une fois que vous avez trouvé un bon emplacement pour votre télévision, vous devez choisir le support TV qui vous conviendra le mieux. En la matière, vous devez en choisir un qui peut garantir la sécurité de votre télévision. Vous distinguerez entre les supports inclinables, orientables, épais et même en mode portrait. Prenez en compte le poids et la taille supportés pour choisir.

Pour fixer le support TV, vous aurez besoin d’outils tels qu’une perceuse, si nécessaire, un marteau, possiblement et des clous et vis selon le cas. Il faut préciser que, quel que soit le cas, l’installation du support ne prendra pas plus de 10 minutes. Il faudra veiller à choisir un support TV qui est livré avec les outils nécessaires.

In late 2015, momentum toward implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was steadily building in Guatemala. This momentum was driven by the International Commission against Impunity in Guatemala (CICIG) and protesters in the streets demanding action against corruption. Since 2017, however, a political standoff in Guatemala has started reversing these gains. A sustained reversal would undermine efforts to address the country’s longstanding socioeconomic needs.

This study analyzes recent gains and setbacks in Guatemala’s efforts to implement the 2030 Agenda and provides recommendations for ways the country can fight corruption and securitization to sustain peace and promote sustainable development. It suggests better communicating the 2030 Agenda through multi-stakeholder outreach, improving monitoring or progress, aligning international aid with local objectives, and continuing to engage with the private sector.

This issue brief is part of the International Peace Institute’s (IPI) SDGs4Peace project, which seeks to understand how the 2030 Agenda is being rooted at the national and local levels and to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The project focuses on five case studies: Guatemala, the Gambia, Greece, Lebanon, and Myanmar. Implementation of the 2030 Agenda provides each of these countries an opportunity not only to buttress existing aspirations but also to build new partnerships that transcend traditional approaches.

Die Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament (EP) verändern ihren Charakter: Von einer Abstimmung zweiter Ordnung werden sie zu einer Richtungswahl für die Entwicklung des politischen Systems der EU. Fünf Veränderungen in der europäischen Parteienlandschaft kommen zusammen: Europaweit verlieren die Parteien rechts und links der Mitte an Zustimmung, die bisher die EU-Integration dominiert haben – die Europäische Volkspartei und die Sozialdemokratische Partei Europas –, ihr interner Zusammenhalt ist unter Druck geraten, das liberale Spektrum formiert sich mit Emmanuel Macrons La République En Marche neu, EU-skeptische Parteien streben eine geeinte Fraktion im EP an und der verschobene Brexit wirbelt zusätzlich die Konstituierung der Fraktionen im EP durcheinander.

In der Studie werden diese Umwälzungen ebenso analysiert wie ihre Aus­wirkungen auf die Funktionsfähigkeit und die politische Orientierung der EU. Trotz ihres Charakters als Dachverbände nationaler Parteien ist die Be­deutung europäischer Parteien für das politische System der EU nicht zu unterschätzen: Sie sorgen für Mehrheitsverhältnisse im EP, spielen eine füh­rende Rolle bei der Besetzung von EU-Spitzenpositionen und tragen jenseits staatlicher Diplomatie zu einem Interessenausgleich in Europa bei. Kurz­fristig werden sich die Umwälzungen im europäischen Parteiensystem nach den Europawahlen vor allem auf die Besetzung der EU-Kommission und der Ämter der Hohen Vertreterin und des Präsidenten des Europäischen Rates auswirken, langfristig auf die politische Ausrichtung und Handlungsfähigkeit des Europäischen Parlaments.

Graduating high school art students from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, India, Ireland, Australia, United Kingdom and the United States, donated artwork to an IPI MENA “Youth in Art for Peace” exhibition organized in collaboration with Saudi Artist Wedad Al Bakr, Founder of Artwed and peace advocate.

In his opening remarks, IPI MENA Director Nejib Friji stressed IPI’s vision for youth in peacemaking and multilateral policymaking. He called for greater involvement of youth in leadership positions for innovation in the field of peacemaking, and as a deterrence against growing dissatisfaction, violence, and extremism among youth.

Ms. Al Bakr outlined art as a means of intercultural communication, as well a tool for promoting inclusivity, tolerance, and peace. Noting the diversity of youth who convened at IPI MENA as a testament to the unifying power of art, she called on the young artists to build bridges and cultural connections in advocating for peace.

H.E. Selim Ghariani, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, remarked that “it is important to devote time to the initiatives of youth and peace.” He expressed a desire to see concerned players at the regional and international level adopt this initiative and showcase youth artwork.

Noting the “high density of artists, art movements and galleries in Manama” H.E. Kai Boeckmann, the Ambassador of Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain discussed the potential for youth in art in the Kingdom, saying,  “I welcome the voices of youth, especially speaking on issues such as environmental sustainability and peace, as these are issues that we must tackle together as an international community.”

H.E. Kemal Demirciler, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Kingdom of Bahrain, praised the youth for actively taking up their roles as peace advocates.

The young artists then gave statements on their works, how they were inspired to create them, and what peace means in their artwork.

During the student presentations, Majd Sattam Algosaibi of Ibn Khuldoon School (IKNS) showcased her acrylic painting “Ummah.” Discussing the community’s role in fostering inclusivity, tolerance, and understanding, she hopes to portray in her work “that no one is superior to another and no one deserves more because of authority or race.”

Describing his acrylic painting “Pure Youth,” Hamza Rahma of IKNS School explained that his subject symbolizes the trauma and suffering experienced by children in war and conflict zones. He hoped his audience would assess the sensations and effects of war and thus be inspired to work towards peace.

Stirred by “the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, inequality, stereotypes and war” Juman Al Ghalayini of IKNS School entitled her artwork “Salam” (which means “peace” in Arabic) with the aim to increase awareness. She purposefully detached the letters of the word “salam” in her Arabic calligraphy to symbolize the unachieved peace today. However, she contrasted this negativity through the use of brightly colored, dried flowers as a sign of hope for sustainable peace.

Ahmed Dadabai of Riffa Views International School stated art as a means of storytelling, and a way for him to express peaceful perspectives on the world. His piece depicted Islamic symbols showing “religion as a force of calmness and light, in contrast to its common representation in some media.”

Hana Aysha Noor of Ibn Al Haytham Islamic School focused on discrimination as an obstacle to sustainable peace. She highlighted the role that Nelson Mandela, played in challenging hatred, building understanding and tolerance; core values of durable peace.

Created through a collaboration of six student artists from St. Christopher’s School, the layered and multi-technique artwork “Peace in Sight” depicted the word peace in many languages, including braille. The piece symbolizes the use of art as a communicative tool, often expressing more than words, stated the artists.

¿Cuál es la influencia de España en Bruselas por lo que respecta a los asuntos económicos?

The arduous process of withdrawing the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) began shortly after the Brexit referendum in June 2016. The “leave” vote plunged the British government into an existential crisis and led to dramatic special summits at the EU level. Looking at the British exit vote against the history of EU-related referendums reveals its peculiarities and pitfalls. The resulting mandate left the government some room for manoeuvre and initially offered plenty of options for its negotiations with Brussels. However, the government in London was not able to translate the tight “No” vote into a viable negotiating position. The EU insisted on negotiating exclusively with Her Majesty’s Government. Paradoxically, referendums in member states illustrate the European multi-level system’s dependence on states. Member states and the EU can both learn lessons by observing the British government’s handling of the exit referendum.

The mandate of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (Minusma) ends on 30 June 2019. There is little doubt that the UN Security Coun­cil will extend the mission. Less clear is how Minusma contributes to Mali’s stabilisation and how the mandate could be altered to increase the mission’s effectiveness. In light of changing conditions in Mali, the Security Council should consider a stronger Minusma engagement in central Mali. But for this to happen, cuts must be made in the north.

Gegenwärtig werden wieder Forderungen nach einem Verbot illegaler Bereiche im Internet – sogenannter Dark Nets – laut. Im Entwurf des Bundesinnenministeriums für das neue IT-Sicherheitsgesetz soll das »Zugänglichmachen von Leistungen zur Begehung von Straftaten« über internetbasierte Dienste unter Strafe gestellt werden. In der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung dominieren insbesondere die negativen Aspekte des Dark Nets: illegaler Waffen- und Drogenhandel, Cyber-Kriminalität und Kinderpornografie. Neuere Daten zeigen jedoch, dass die Bedrohungen, die vom Dark Net ausgehen, weitaus geringer sind als häufig angenommen. Daher ist zu fragen, ob ein Verbot dieser Technologie sinnvoll, ohne negative Kollateraleffekte umsetzbar und zudem verhältnismäßig ist. Statt das Dark Net als solches verbieten zu wollen, sollte der Fokus darauf gerichtet werden, in neuen Ermittlungstechniken zu schulen und die internationale Kooperation bei der Strafverfolgung zu intensivieren. Dies wäre eine nachhaltige Lösung, da diese Fähigkeiten auch im Kampf gegen das weitaus grö­ßere Problem – Cyber-Kriminalität im regulären Internet – von Nutzen wären.
