Kongo-Central : vives réactions après la démolition de maisons près de la base militaire de Kitona

L'opération de démolition de maisons construites dans le groupement Maputu, dans le territoire de Muanda (Kongo-Central), suscite de vives réactions. Menée il y a quelques jours par des militaires sur ordre de la hiérarchie de la base militaire de Kitona, cette action est dénoncée par le député provincial Jelson Sisi Vimbi, qui la juge illégale et injustifiée.

Scheinwahlen inmitten des Krieges in Myanmar

Fünf Jahre nach dem blutigen Militärputsch und inmitten eines Bürgerkrieges haben in Myanmar Wahlen stattgefunden. Sie waren weder frei noch fair, noch wurde bei ihrer Durchführung auch nur versucht, den Schein demo­kratischer Mindeststandards zu wahren. Der Hauptzweck der Wahlen war von vorn­herein nicht die politische Mitbestimmung, sondern lag in der autoritär gelenkten Transition von einer Militärregierung hin zu einer »zivilen« Regierung. Letztere soll national wie international durch Abhaltung der Wahl als legitim erscheinen und gleichzeitig die Dominanz des Militärs festigen. Die militärische Führung Myanmars präsentiert die Wahlen zudem als »Neubeginn«, um politische Stabilität im Land wiederherzustellen und dessen internationale Isolation aufzubrechen. Letztgenanntes richtet sich unter anderem an die Europäische Union (EU) und ihre Mitgliedstaaten. Diese sollten jedoch der Mär von einer »zivilen«, gewählten Regierung und einer »Rückkehr« zur verfassungsmäßi­gen Ordnung keinen Glauben schenken und daher bis auf Weiteres keine Normalisierung der Beziehungen zu Myanmar anstreben.
