The Council adopted a decision which updates the recovery and resilience plan of Germany. The Council’s positive assessment of Germany’s plan remains unchanged.

The Council adopted conclusions on the revised EU list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes. A total of 16 countries have either not engaged in a constructive dialogue with the EU on tax governance or have failed to deliver on their commitments to implement the necessary reforms.

The Council today adopted a decision authorising member states to ratify, in the interest of the EU, the Second Additional Protocol to the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention).

The European Union condemns in the strongest terms the execution in Iran of Iranian-British national Alireza Akbari and recalls yet again its strong opposition against the application of capital punishment in any circumstance.
