La province du Kasaï-Oriental fait face à une résurgence inquiétante de la rougeole, particulièrement dans la ville de Mbuji-Mayi. Selon les autorités sanitaires, 18 cas suspects ont été enregistrés chez des enfants de moins de cinq ans durant la 43e semaine épidémiologique, portant le cumul total à près de 159 cas suspects.

On 6 November, the SEDE Committee will hold, jointly with the FEMM Committee, a public hearing on the 25th Anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on "Women, Peace and Security" as part of the EP Gender Equality week.
