May 30, 2015 (BOR) – The experience of a young family losing two of their children to unknown abductors can not only be sad and devastating, but equally hearth-wrecking.

A couple in South Sudan's Jonglei state has appealed to government and the Greater Pibor Area Administration (GPAA) to help them recover two lost children.

Thon Malual Garang, 33, and his wife Ayen Madit are in tears after their four and half year old girl and a boy less than three years were abducted by unknown people from their home in Block Nine zone.

“My children are two, the girl is the elder one and her follower is a boy. My home was attacked in the evening when I was still at work. I was not at home [but] if I were home, I would have given my life to save them”, Garang Sudan Tribune in the capital, Bor on Saturday.

“What I know from my wife and the rest of the eyewitnesses is that the abductors where Murle, their place in Pibor is not known, but I guess they are from western Pibor areas like Manybol, Koth-char, or Gumuruk,” he added.

Malual called on both Pibor administration and the Jonglei state government to coordinate, trace and bring back all the children abducted by Murle tribesmen, including his children, saying this would be the starting point for peace between these two tribes.

During the attack, Malual, an officer at the state fire brigade, said his mother and his youngest son were shot, but the duo were now getting better.

“There is nothing more frustrating than losing your child to abductors. I suffered for years since I was married to raise them, only to see them being taken at a gunpoint,” a tearful Ayen narrated.

Early this month, the GPAA under David Yauyau's leadership, returned four abducted children who were reunited with their parents. At the event, Yauyau pledged to end all criminal activities such as raiding and abduction with support from Jonglei authorities.

The GPAA was created following the 9 May, 2014 peace agreement the Yauyau-led South Sudan Democratic Forces-Cobra faction signed with South Sudan government.

EZEN A NAPON EMLÉKSZÜNK RÁ: 

Feszty Árpád (Ógyalla, 1856. december 24. – Lovrana, 1914. június 1.) Festő. 1892 nyarán  Mednyánszky László és más festők társaságában Munkácson dolgozott, hogy a helyszínen készítse el a Magyarok bejövetele című körképének vázlatait. A művészek heteken át dolgoztak a közeli hegyekben, esténként a Csillag Szállóba tértek haza, ahol műtermet rendeztek be maguknak. A körkép színvázlatain kívül számos, a Munkács környéki hegyeket megörökítő festmény is született, de a Latorca-völgy, a Várhegy, a Gális-hegy és a klastrom hegye megörökítésre került a Magyarok bejövetelén is.

MIT MONDOTT RÓLAD ISTEN? (1)

„Igaznak kell bizonyulnod beszédeidben” (Róma 3:4)

Pál azt írja: „Mi akkor a zsidó előnye, vagy mi a körülmetélés haszna? Minden szempontból sok. Elsősorban az, hogy Isten rájuk bízta igéit. Mi következik azonban ebből? Ha egyesek hűtlenné váltak, vajon az ő hűtlenségük megszünteti-e Isten hűségét? Szó sincs róla! Sőt azt kell mondanunk: igaz az Isten, az emberek pedig valamennyien hazugok, amint meg van írva: »Igaznak kell bizonyulnod beszédeidben, és győznöd kell, amikor perelnek veled.«” (Róma 3:1-4). Isten rólad is mondott bizonyos dolgokat. Elmondta, hogy mi az ő akarata életedre nézve. Hinned kell abban, amit mondott, magadban hozott szavait, és ki kell mondanod őket saját életedre. Ne tartson vissza ez az elképzelés, hogy mindenkinek el kell fogadnia, amit Isten rólad mondott. Látásodnak a külső támogatástól függetlenül is meg kell állnia. Ezt az elgondolást nehéz megérteni, főleg egy demokráciában, ahol az emberek szavazatán múlik minden, és a többség kormányoz. Isten országa azonban teokrácia, egyetlen szó és egyetlen szavazat számít: Istené! Ne hagyd látásodat várakozó állásponton addig, míg mindenki egyetértésre nem jut vele!. Nem csak, hogy nem kötelesek támogatni, de nem is kell elhinniük, amit Isten neked mondott! Nem engedheted meg magadnak, hogy arra várj, míg mások is elfogadják látásodat, neked kell hozzálátnod a megvalósításhoz. Akkor is elérheted célodat, ha az emberek félreértenek vagy nem hajlandóak segíteni. Isten szövetségkötő és szövetséget megtartó Isten, amit ő kimondott az életedről, az biztosan bekövetkezik. Ha kételkedsz ebben, olvasd el ezt: „… az én igém is, amely számból kijön: nem tér vissza hozzám üresen, hanem véghezviszi, amit akarok, eléri célját, amiért küldtem” (Ézsaiás 55:11). Csak erre a hitelesítésre van szükség!

Therefore, on the weekend, German Foreign Minister Steinmeier traveled not only to Kiev, but also to Dnepropetrovsk, the town of oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyi. Even though Kolomoyskyi has recently stepped down as governor, he still wields significant influence over the - in some cases - fascist militias, which refuse a cease-fire. To put pressure on the fascists, who had helped execute the February 2014 Kiev coup, but are uncontrollable in the civil war, Berlin must make a deal with Ukrainian oligarchs. These same oligarchs had been the focus of the protests at the Maidan. Several times last year, Foreign Minister Steinmeier held personal consultations with powerful oligarchs - including President Poroshenko - or politicians directly dependent on them. The Ukrainian oligarchy has emerged unscathed from last year's upheavals.
