Der Entwurf des Bundeshaushalts 2025 zeigt die Bemühungen aller Ampelparteien, eine konstruktive Lösung zu finden und ihre Differenzen zu überwinden. Er bietet aber viel politischen Sprengstoff. Der Sparhaushalt für 2025 zeichnet ein falsches Bild, indem er Kürzungen bei den Sozialausgaben als hohe Priorität darstellt, wohlwissend, dass vor allem die Versprechen bei der Rente kurzfristig erfüllt werden müssen. Im neuen Bundeshaushalt fehlen Kürzungen klimaschädlicher Subventionen, die in Deutschland über 60 Milliarden Euro im Jahr ausmachen, wie auch ein Abbau anderer Steuerprivilegien, um wirtschaftlichen Wettbewerb zu stärken und eine faire Lastenverteilung sicherzustellen. Die restriktive Finanzpolitik der Bundesregierung ist mit die größte Bremse für die wirtschaftliche Erholung und daher ein schwerwiegender politischer Fehler.

The Council adopted restrictive measures targeting the Belarusian economy, in light of the regime’s involvement in Russia’s illegal, unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine.

Overview of the main subjects to be discussed at meetings of the Council of the EU over the next two weeks and upcoming media events.

The Council imposed restrictive measures against two individuals and four entities responsible for actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

The Council decided to list six individuals and three entities responsible for participating in the financing of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and enabling their violent actions.
