BOTH SIDES are shouting outrage over free speech and now we're seeing (well we've been seeing it in bits and drabs all over the US) toward EU and especially UK style censorship. You say the wrong shit on the internet that offends the other side and suddenly you see a police unit outside your house ready to put you in cuffs. It will be extreme words at first and then before you know it you shout about a simple political disagreement and you're looking at years in jail while REAL creatures are out running free and rampaging across the land.
It was once so simple.  Don't like something someone says then you tell them to get the fuck.  You read something you don't like then don't go back to that source.
But naw.  Americans are becoming so pussy that we need daddy govt to handle the bad man....yell to momma to make them stop.
Meanwhile we're all dancing like puppets and the govt/political/economic elite are pulling the strings to keep the masses stirred up so we miss the madness that is going on in places of power.
We're in a much bigger fight and getting angry about shit won't help.  Uncontrolled emotions in a fight will get you killed.  We're in a fight and the REAL bad guys are playing with people's emotions.

This is where we're at. The political rhetoric has gotten so heated that even a comedian knows its too far (and he spouts dem talking points). What people don't realize is that we've been here before at various times of America's history. This is nothing new. It happened most famously during the civil war but also in the run ups to both World Wars, during the Great Depression, during Vietnam/Desegregation etc...we just had a break during our lifetimes for the most part but its always lurked in the background (Oklahoma bombing, Ruby Ridge aftermath and threats to certain entities).

 

If you don't know about the German 88 then you're missing out. Probably the best cannon in WW2. Best in this case is that I believe it was the most versatile. Below you see it operating in the anti-tank and anti-air role, which is why you got the above title to this post. Oh and it also served as the main gun on a couple of German tanks too....oh and I believe also a few ships.
