About

András István Türke, Ph.D of the Sorbonne, is a diplomacy & security policy expert based in Switzerland. He specializes in European Foreign, Security & Defence Policy and industrial base issues. He is expert in geopolitics of Africa and Western Balkans on strategic and economic issues. 

He is an independent researcher in collaboration with several think-tanks, and head of the Europa Varietas Institute and CERPESC. He was also former visiting fellow at European Union Institute for Security Studies and at the Assembly of the Western European Union / Defence Committee.


His research focuses on the peacekeeping and regional stability with emphasis on european solutions for defence & crisis management. So far, his work has mostly drawn on EU, UN, AU and NATO activities but he has started to engage with other global and regional crisis management institutions.


His research has been published with L'Harmattan - Paris, ED-385 Sorbonne, Centre d'Histoire - Science Po Paris, CERPESC - Europa Varietas Institute, and Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (etc.).

András István Türke est docteur de la Sorbonne, chercheur spécialisé aux questions de sécurité et de diplomatie en Europe et en Afrique. Ses analyses traitent la PESC/PSDC (ancienne PESD) et l'industrie de défense de l'Union européenne. Il est expert en géopolitique de l'Afrique subsaharienne et des Balkans Occidentaux concernant les enjeux et défis stratégiques et économiques.  


Türke András István a Sorbonne doktora, európai és afrikai kérdésekre szakosodott biztonságpolitikai kutató. Elemzései egyrészt az Európai Unió (azon belül főleg Franciaország) kül-, biztonság- és védelempolitikai, valamint védelmi ipari kérdéseivel foglalkoznak, főként az afrikai és balkáni missziók vonatkozásában, különös tekintettel azok regionális-politikai dimenziójára és gazdasági hátterére.
