The alliance consists of twelve Central and Eastern European countries bordering on the Baltic, the Adriatic and the Black Sea that plan to intensify economic cooperation with each other. The demonstrators taking part in the "March for Justice" are expected to reach Istanbul on Sunday. The protest march initiated by the CHP, Turkey's largest opposition party, started in Ankara roughly one month ago in reaction to the conviction of MP Enis Berberoğlu. At least 10,000 people have now joined in. Can the protest make a major impact?

The British government on Monday presented its plans for the 3.2 million EU nationals living in the UK after Brexit. Those who have lived in Britain for more than five years will be able to apply for unlimited residency with full access to education, the pension system and public healthcare. Her Tories on Monday signed an agreement with the Northern Irish DUP, which in future will support key bills presented by the government. In exchange Northern Ireland will receive roughly 1.7 billion euros for economic and infrastructural projects. Do the risks of this arrangement outweigh the advantages?
