La présidente du parti Union démocratique pour un Bénin nouveau (UDBN), Claudine A. Prudencio était sur l'émission spéciale ‘'Dimanche politique'' de Eden TV ce dimanche 09 mai 2021. Au cours de l'émission, la présidente de l'UDBN a souligné qu'après la victoire par KO du chef de l'Etat, place doit est fait aux actions de développement.

« Maintenant que le second mandat de notre leader charismatique est obtenu, place aux actions de développement », a fait savoir la présidente de la seule formation politique dirigée par une femme au Bénin. Une dynamique que l'UDBN s'engage à soutenir pour qu'à la fin de ce second mandat, le président Patrice Talon soit davantage porté en triomphe, a expliqué Claudine Prudencio.

Les critiques acerbes à l'endroit de l'UDBN

« On ne lance des pierres qu'à l'arbre qui portent des fruits, et surtout des fruits mûrs », a précisé la présidente de l'UDBN. Les critiques à l'en croire, sont la preuve que « l'UDBN est grande, l'UBDN évolue, que l'UDBN dérange des intérêts », a-t-elle confié soulignant que « le chef de l'Etat est suffisamment lucide, et sait qui est qui, et qui a fait quoi ».
La présidente de l'UDBN précise qu'elle n'a pas de guerre à mener avec des « apprentis politiciens, qui savent qu'on les connait, et qui expriment de la haine et de la méchanceté » envers son parti. Sûre d'elle-même, Claudine Pudencio rassure qu'elle ne se sent pas ébranlée par ces manœuvres. « En politique, je ne suis pas née de la dernière pluie », a-t-elle précisé.
Selon la présidente de l'UDBN, si des répliques ont été notées, « c'est pour rétablir la vérité là où des mensonges sont distillés par médias interposés, et sur les réseaux sociaux ». « Nous n'allons pas permettre tout le temps, à des bébés politiques de raconter toutes sortes de balivernes sur l'UDBN qui est un parti très sérieux », a-t-elle ajouté soulignant que ceux qui tentent de cloitrer l'UDBN dans l'arrondissement de Godomey, méconnaissent les textes sur la réforme du système partisan. L'UDBN selon sa présidente, « est un parti national, en respect aux textes de la République ». « Mieux, le parti a renforcé ses bases dans les 77 communes du Bénin. Tout le monde a vu l'UDBN bouger et mouiller le maillot dans les 546 arrondissements du pays. Toutes nos coordinations fonctionnent et se renforcent au quotidien », a expliqué Claudine Prudencio pour qui, « les détracteurs font faussent route simplement ».

Les priorités de l'UDBN

La présidente de l'UDBN s'est par ailleurs prononcée sur les priorités de son parti. Il s'agit pour elle, de contribuer à la réussite de la cérémonie d'investiture du président de la République réélu ; de se mettre résolument au travail pour apporter sa contribution à la réalisation de l'ambitieux programme de gouvernement 2021-2026. Selon Claudine Prudencio, beaucoup de grands chantiers sont ouverts, et leur concrétisation va hisser davantage le Bénin au rang des pays émergents.
Sur le plan politique, la formation politique qu'elle dirige se prépare activement pour les élections législatives de 2023.
