Le 21 mars 2015, le Germinal est intervenu sur un Go Fast au comportement suspect, détecté et pisté au préalable par un avion C26 du Regional Security System (RSS) basé à la Barbade.

Pris en chasse par la frégate de surveillance Germinal à une cinquantaine de nautiques à l’ouest de la Barbade, le Go Fast a rejeté à la mer des ballots de drogue avant d'être arrêté. Les 7 présumés narcotrafiquants ont alors été interceptés et leur embarcation saisie. 7 ballots ont été récupérés par la frégate.
