Le ministre des Affaires étrangères Jean-Noël Barrot s'est dit "effaré" et "indigné" mercredi par les faits révélés la veille mettant en cause un diplomate français, Fabrice Aidan, dont le nom apparaît à plusieurs reprises dans les dossiers Epstein. "Quand j'ai pris connaissance de ces informations, j'ai été effaré et j'ai fait ce que chacun aurait fait à ma place" en signalant les faits à la justice et en lançant une enquête administrative ainsi qu'une procédure disciplinaire, a déclaré le ministre sur RTL.
